St Peters Lutheran School 20th Anniversary Celebrations
(1999 – 2019)

This year our school celebrates its 20th Anniversary.

This Sunday 5 May 2019, we will be having a special Commemorative Walk and Thanksgiving Service to give thanks for our school and the move of the St Peters Lutheran Congregation to Cumming Street. All staff, students and families, past and present are invited to come and join us to reminisce, celebrate and give thanks for 20 years of Lutheran education in Blackwood. Our students will have involvement on this special day.

The day will begin, for those willing and able, at 8.30am at the original Lutheran Church site at 199 Main Rd Blackwood, where we will take a literal walk down memory lane to the current church and school site at 71 Cumming St, Blackwood. At 10.00am the Thanksgiving Service will commence, followed by an Open School and lunch.

To help us celebrate, there are a number of other ways that you can join us:

1. The #SP20yearchallenge – we would love to have any photos of past staff, students and families to display on the day. Please send a photo of when you were part of the St Peters community (the earlier the date the better) via or leave at the front office. Please include your name and what you are doing now.
2. The Commemorative 20th Anniversary tree – anyone is welcome to buy a leaf to permanently record your time in this community (please see order form here).
3. Celebratory wine – Thanks to Dominic Wines, we are also selling some beautiful 2016 Shiraz and 2017 Sauvignon Blanc (please see order form here).

Join with us as we celebrate our school.
